Vouni is a beautifully preserved wine village in the Limassol district, set on the southern slopes of Troodos at an altitude of 800 meters.
Its name, meaning “mountain,” reflects its dramatic hillside setting, with stone houses, wooden balconies, and cobbled alleys climbing in layers. Once a thriving winemaking center, it still carries the vineyard traditions of the Krasochoria region.
The village is dotted with chapels and the church of Timios Prodromos, each with centuries of history. Visitors can stroll through shaded streets, discover traditional courtyards, and enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and the sea.
With restored architecture, cozy cafés, and a peaceful atmosphere, Vouni offers an authentic glimpse into Cyprus’s rural character.
