Vasa is a traditional wine-producing village in the Krasochoria region of Limassol, about 40 km from the city.
Surrounded by terraced vineyards and gentle hills, it has a long history of winemaking, especially in producing Commandaria and Zivania. The village is built from local stone, with narrow alleys, arches, and houses that reflect its heritage.
At its center stands the church of Agios Ioannis Prodromos, a landmark of faith and community gatherings. Visitors can explore the Wine and Folklore Museum, which preserves tools, costumes, and traditions of rural life.
With its crisp air, authentic taverns, and warm hospitality, Vasa offers travelers the true essence of Cyprus’s wine villages.
