CEO – TROZENA WINERY
I’ve been passionate about wine my whole life. My journey in the world of winemaking began with formal studies at Haifa University in Israel, where I earned my B.Sc degree, followed by a Master’s degree in Oenology and Viticulture from Adelaide University in Australia.
With 18 years of demonstrated experience in the wine and agriculture industries, I have had the privilege of working as an experienced Winemaker and Chief Executive Officer. My expertise lies in specializing in small boutique, quality-oriented wineries, with a strong emphasis on planning and executing winery startups.
My career took a significant turn when I joined a pioneering team in North Cyprus to establish a new winery. This experience not only enriched my expertise but also fueled my ambition to create exceptional wines that tell a story.
Today, I am proud to be the CEO of Trozena Winery, a new venture built on the historic grounds of the abandoned Trozena village in Cyprus. Our winery is a blend of tradition and innovation, where we craft wines that reflect the unique character and heritage of this remarkable location.
I am honored to have received recognition for my work, winning awards in prestigious competitions such as the Decanter World Wine Awards, Challenge International Du Vin, and the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition in New York. Additionally, I bring extensive experience as an international wine judge in global competitions.
